The Argus Referral Program: Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions apply to the Argus Referral Program (“Program”):
1. Eligibility
The Program is open to existing Argus customers (Referrers) who refer a new business (Referral).
A new business means a company that is not currently an Argus customer and has not held an Argus contract within the previous 12 months.
Referrals must be independent third-party businesses. Referrers may not refer entities they own, control or are under common ownership with.
The Program applies only to customers and referrals operating in Australia and New Zealand.
Referral credits apply only where the referred business signs an Argus fleet management plan VISI, OMNI, MIDI or VISION AI. Asset management plans LOCI and ASSIST are excluded.
The referred business must sign a minimum contract term of thirty-six (36) months.
2. Valid Referrals
A referral is valid only if submitted via the official Argus referral form prior to contract signing.
A referral is considered successful once the referred business executes a contract and activates at least one billing vehicle.
If multiple referrals are received for the same business, only the first valid submission recorded by Argus by date and time stamp will qualify.
Argus has sole discretion in determining referral validity.
3. Referral Credits – Referrer
The referrer will receive a NZD 30 credit for each vehicle included in the referred business’s initial signed order form at contract execution.
Subsequent vehicle additions are excluded.
Credits apply only to vehicles that are installed, activated and billing.
Referral credits are capped at 50 vehicles per referral, up to a maximum of NZD 1,500.
If the referrer has fewer active billing vehicles on their own Argus account at the time the referred contract is executed, referral credits will be limited to the referrer’s active vehicle count at that time.
4. Referral Credits – Referred Business
The referred business will receive a NZD 30 credit per vehicle included in its initial signed order form, capped at 50 vehicles and NZD 1,500.
Credits apply only to vehicles that are installed, activated and billing.
5. Large Fleet Bonus (More Than 50 Vehicles)
If the referred business signs more than 50 vehicles in its initial contract, both the referrer and the referred business will receive:
standard referral credits in accordance with Clauses 3 and 4; and
three (3) months of complimentary access to the Argus OMNI plan for all vehicles on their respective accounts.
The OMNI access benefit applies only to parties not already subscribed to the OMNI plan at the time of contract execution. If a party is already subscribed to OMNI, no additional OMNI benefit will apply to that party, and that party will not receive the OMNI access benefit.
For the avoidance of doubt, the OMNI access benefit provides access to OMNI plan features only. All standard monthly subscription fees under each party’s existing contract will continue to apply during the three (3) month period, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Argus Tracking.
If 50 vehicles or fewer are signed, only standard referral credits apply.
6. Credit Application and Conditions
Referral credits are applied as a one-time account credit in the first billing month following activation of the referred fleet.
Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Credits cannot be combined with any other promotional offer unless approved in writing by Argus.
Credits are contingent on the referred business remaining in good standing and current on payments for the first 90 days.
There is no limit to the number of referrals a referrer may submit, subject to verification and eligibility.
7. Contract Termination and Churn
If the referrer cancels or terminates their Argus contract before completing their contracted term, Argus reserves the right to reverse or adjust referral credits.
If the referred business cancels before completing the minimum 36-month term, the referrer retains credits already applied.
The referred business remains subject to any agreed early termination fees.
8. General
Argus reserves the right to verify referrals, determine eligibility, amend, suspend or withdraw the Program at any time.
Any suspected misuse, abuse or activity inconsistent with the intent of the Program may result in disqualification or reversal of rewards at Argus’s sole discretion.
